Introduction to Wasabi

Players become sushi chefs competing to serve the most valuable orders. They hold recipe cards listing ingredients they must gather then deploy on a communal board. Every completed order adds to their score and matching the exact ingredient sequence on a card earns bonus points. The game revolves around careful tile selection and order tracking in each round.

Each turn starts with adding a new ingredient tile to the board. Players may play an action card to move a tile or swap pieces and change the board. This creates head-to-head clashes as chefs block each other and push forward with their own orders. The hand-drawn art and sturdy pieces bring the sushi concept to life.

Two to four chefs can join and a session lasts around thirty minutes. Setup takes little time and reading the rules feels quick. Every choice looks simple but hides deeper tactics as chefs vie for the highest score. Players who enjoy placing tiles will find a new puzzle each round.
