“Pokemon Dreams” is a fan-made ROM hack of Pokemon FireRed, created by MonopolyRubix. Set in the new region of Solda, the game centers around a traveling trainer who starts their journey in Thicket Town. Here, the player meets a boy aspiring to emulate his gym leader brother. The game emphasizes character development and worldbuilding, presenting a rich narrative interspersed with exploration and various challenges as the player strives to join the Pokemon League​.

The game features eight gyms, a Pokemon League, and postgame rematches, incorporating all Pokemon up to Generation 7, along with 35 Fakemon, totaling 844 Pokemon. The battle system has been updated to include Generation 7 mechanics, such as the Physical/Special split and the Fairy type. Additional features include reusable TMs, the Dexnav, and an absence of NPC trainers using healing items in battles, streamlining the gameplay experience​.

Despite its extensive features, “Pokemon Dreams” has a few bugs, such as graphical glitches with certain items and occasional textual errors in shops.
